Family Garden Workshops
Thanks so much for a wonderful 2023 Garden Workshop Season! It was so meaningful for us connect with so many families and have so much fun in the garden and the kitchen. Please keep an eye out for the workshop schedule for our 2024 Season coming in March 2024.
2023 Workshops
OUR WORKSHOPS ARE FAMILY FRIENDLY AND DESIGNED TO INCORPORATE CHILDREN
-THEY ARE HANDS ON AND CONCISE, 1-1.5 HOURS MAX IN DURATION
-ALL WORKSHOPS ARE ON SUNDAY MORNINGS FROM 10-11:30ISH
-ADMISSION IS $25 PER FAMILY , ALL FAMILY MEMBERS WELCOME. Receive one free session if you register for all 7.
-PRE-REGISTRATION IS GENERALLY REQUIRED, space is limited, please contact us to reserve your spot
MAY 21- FREE ORGANIC SOIL PREP WORKSHOP AND WORKDAY
JUNE 4- SUPPORTING POLLINATORS IN THE YARD AND GARDEN
JULY 9- MAKING JAM AND JELLY
AUGUST 6- CANCELLED PICKLING (both for canning and lactofermenting)
AUGUST 20- KEEPING AN HERB GARDEN (for cooking and basic family medicine)
SEPT 17- SEEDSAVING (this is more fun than it sounds!)
OCTOBER 15- GROWING GARLIC
NOVEMBER 19- MAKING HERBAL SALVE (this one requires some costly materials so there will be a $50 fee per family) for
